Oregon Department of Public Safety and Standards Training (DPSST): Unarmed Private Security Refresher

COURSE SUMMARY:

This course is designed to exceed the requirements set forth by the state of Oregon in order to ensure a consistent level of professionalism, proficiency, and training in the licensing of private security, and private investigating professionals.

PRE-REQUISITES:

Due to the nature of this training and state requirements unarmed applicants need to be 18 years of age and 21 years of age for armed applicants. Come with a desire to learn. Applicants should reveiw the states requirements, and contact DPSST with any questions concerning background checks.

This is a basic level course designed for individuals who are new to long-range marksmanship or rifle beginners in general. We will start by marking sure all of the weapons and optics are set up. Then, begin refining fundamentals during the zeroing process. Eventually, pushing out to 600 yards. There will be a lunch break if needed.

• Establish and confirm a repeatable zero,

• Target Engagement out to 600 yards,
